Tide Charts
Tide timing is one of the most important parts of planning a razor clam trip. Lower tides expose more productive beach and give diggers more room to work.
Focus on Low Tide
Most diggers arrive before the predicted low tide so they can follow the water outward as more sand is exposed.
Allow Walking Time
Parking, beach access, and walking distance can take longer than expected. Build extra time into your plan rather than arriving exactly at low tide.
Pair Tides with Openings
A favorable tide does not mean digging is permitted. Always pair tide information with the official beach-opening status.
