Mocrocks can offer excellent razor clamming, but access and conditions vary, so a little preparation makes a big difference.

Plan Your Route

Review the access point and driving route before leaving, particularly for digs scheduled near darkness.

Scout Before Digging

Walk the beach and look for clusters of fresh clam shows instead of immediately digging the first mark you see.

Respect the Beach

Pack out trash, avoid blocking access routes, and leave enough space around other digging groups.
